Meet Ruth Barth! She's been a teacher for 30 years at a small high school in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. As a speech coach she created a huge, dominant speech team of over 75 active students each season, taking the state title 6 times in 10 years. Also in charge of the school's drama department, she elevated the spring musical tradition to a community phenomenon.

"Last Week" documents Ruth as she nears retirement as a teacher. It follows her through her final week of preparation for her last spring musical, chronicling the stress, chaos, emotions and adventures that can accompany that last week.
