What's with all the volleyball videos?

Warren Miller is a filmmaker that specializes in skiing movies, releasing almost a new skiing film every year (until 2003). I do the same kind of thing with the Marist High School Volleyball team. Each year, I film the team from the beginning to the end of the season, producing a documentary film to track the ups and downs of the season. Doing this each fall allows me a constant opportunity to improve my skills, try new things and push myself creatively (for instance, in 2008 I incorporated a whole theme of projecting images onto large walls). With so many positive, inspiring stories to be found amongst these quality, high school athletes, this is a project I hope to continue into the future, with many more documentaries to come.
