Based out of Eugene, Oregon, Steve Barth Media Productions has been producing multimedia projects, websites and creative ideas since 1994 and films since 2003. In his role as a film director, Steve Barth has made his name primarily producing inspirational sports documentaries, beginning with short features in 2003 and moving into feature length documentary films in 2005.

While Steve takes on a number of commercial clients and videos, he also looks for stories on his own that inspire him, that he can then work to commit to film. Inspired by filmmakers like Bud Greenspan, Steve Barth has set out on a mission to tell the stories of inspirational people, that the large film studios are just too busy to find. As Steve says, "It's the simple stories that inspire people.. the athletes digging down deep to achieve success, the teachers that inspire and regular people who can become heroes. These are the stories that we need to tell. Film is no longer for the elite. Regular people deserve to have their lives and successes documented for the future. You don't have to have 100 million dollars to tell a good story, just a camera, a computer, lots of creativity and a touch of insanity."

Steve Barth also produced a number of other film projects including the short film “Are You My Mother?”. In 2008, he began writing and directing a series of popular internet videos called “The RV Spy Guys” for a client's viral marketing campaign.

The upcoming film “Last Week” will serve as an opportunity for Steve to break away from sports themed documentaries, to use his unique story telling style for a biographical film. Additional projects in the works include “Seniors 09” (currently shooting) and “Spartans 09” the next in his ongoing series of sports documentaries (shoots fall of 2009).

Also new to the offerings of 2009 is website dedicated to helping high school athletes get attention from colleges through online recruiting videos.
